Join us for the upcoming meeting of our International Book Club, an inclusive program for foreigners living in Split, organized by Marko Marulic City Library in Split.

This month we are reading Sarajevo Marlboro, a powerful collection of short stories by one of the most celebrated writers from Croatia, Miljenko Jergović. Set against the backdrop of the Sarajevo siege, the book captures everyday life, loss, and resilience through vivid, unforgettable portraits of ordinary people.

A copy of the book in English is available for borrowing at the library, and an English audio edition is also available for those who prefer to listen.

All are welcome — whether you’ve finished the book, read just a few stories, or are simply curious. Come ready to share your thoughts and enjoy a lively conversation.
